MyFirmsApp Blazes A Digital Trail as a Finalist in the Mobile Innovation Category of the DL100 Awards
MyFirmsApp, operators of the largest global custom App platform in the world for accountants in practice, are proud to have been recognized as finalists in the Mobile Innovation category of the DL100 Awards.
This is a huge achievement as the DL100 Award for Mobile Innovation recognises those that are considered to be ‘trail blazing’ a digital transformation in the UK. The Digital Leaders 100 list was launched in 2013 as a new way to recognise individuals and organisations that demonstrate a pioneering and sustainable approach to digital transformation across the public, private and non-profit sectors. Digital Leaders is an initiative that has created a shared professional space for senior leadership from different sectors promoting effective, long-term digital transformation.
Apps created by MyFirmsApp now have a quarter of a million global users who rely on them to stay connected with their accountants. The Darlington based company, that was only established in 2014, is set on helping the accountancy profession to become part of the new mobile landscape with firms easily able to create their own branded App. This is a proven, effective and easy way of answering the current digital challenge as it connects accountants with their customers and prospects and brings everything together in one place. Each bespoke App delivers a suite of compliant and approved tax tools to make running a business easier and includes calculators, mileage and income trackers, receipt management, finance news, calendars and push notifications. Having data and accounting systems stored together in one place allows the accountant to take full control of the client relationship and increases retention.
The eventual winners, ‘Friend Finder’ helps hundreds of ill or disabled children to make friends and stay in touch outside of school.
